    Can the struggling Celtics and Lakers make the playoffs this year ?

    I believe so...... It's just painful to watch right now I have to say! But yet I remain optimistic about these teams.

    I seriously doubt the Lakers will make the play offs.....big, old, slow, can't play defense.... Dwight Howard is a sissy. The Celtics will most likely make it, outside of the Heat, Bulls, Knicks, Pacers, the East conference is weak on the bottom.

    Hopefully not.  It would be nice to see them finally miss the playoffs, and let some other teams be in, in their place.

    I doubt either the Celtics or the Lakers will make the playoffs. But they both sure impressed me yesterday, what with the Celtics beating the Heat and right after that the Lakers beating the Thunder. Wow, those were two great games. Rondo tearing his ACL sure doesn't help Boston.

      Hopefully that makes a big difference, and the 76ers take the 8th playoff spot from them.
