Where do you see the next great quarterback rivalry brewing?
Peyton Manning and Tom Brady showcased what quarterback rivalries bring to NFL entertainment. As their careers wind down, where is the next one taking shape?
Colin Kaepernick and Russell Wilson seems pretty likely at this point.
As long as Peyton is playing, I think they will try to make him and Andrew Luck a rivalry, RGIII and Russell Wilson will probably pan out better than Kaepernick. The 49er defense covered up a lot of his deficiencies/mistakes.
On the flip side, you might want to look out for Eli Manning and RGIII for the next few years.
I do feel it will be Colin Kaepernick and Russell Wilson because they both play for great teams and in the same division. Kaepernick made mistakes last year, but so did Russell Wilson in the first half of the season. Since he started for half a year longer then Kaepernick, this was understandable.
RGIII is great, but his clashes are with older quarterbacks who probably won't be in the league long enough to make a truly great rivalry. The only way this could turn is if the Redskins are constantly doing battle with the Seahawks, 49ers, or Panthers in the playoffs. And Cam Newton's teams seem to have a long way to go to get to that point.
The fact they're in the same division makes it that much sweeter. It should be good stuff.

As some of you may know, Colin Kaepernick was a quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers, who started a movement last year, as he started to sit for the national anthem, during games, which inevitably led to him kneeling instead, after he talked to a US veteran about his protests. This gesture...
