    EDGE!!!!
In case you didn' know, this canadian born wrestler is a true wrestling god who should be mentioned along with the likes of your Hulk Hogans, Ric Flairs, Kurt Angles, Shawn Michaels, and JBLs.
Edge has been a main-stay in the now very mediocre WWE, displaying unimaginable talent, and sacrifising his body night in and night out so wrestling fans can be entertained. As a die hard Edge Head, I am hoping beyond hope that Edge returns at the 2010 Royal Rumble and saves the WWE from death.

I prefer real wrestling to that sort of 'entertainment'

I agree Edge has worked hard. From being a measly tag team partner of Christian to being in the main frame, he has come a long way.

But IMO he isn't a good wrestler. That is, if we are talking about WWE, which is wrestling + acting. Actually it is 90% acting and 10% wrestling.

Compare him to the likes of The Rock, and Steve Austin, he can never even come close to those guys. The Rock was such a great wrestler, that he completely shifted his career to actual acting.

As far as entertainer hoes Edge may be the best in this generation but when considering technical skill there was none better than Chris Benoit.

The fact that JBL was even mentioned in the same sentence as Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair is absurd.

Okay this is gonna sound weird.
Stone Cold, the Rock, Cena, Triple H, Shawn Micheals are all great "performers".
As far as actual wrestlers go, I'd have to go with Kurt Angle.
Showmanship and an extensive wrestling background.
And he's a little nuts as well.

I would have to give Edge his due, he did come a long way and he fought hard to even become a wrestler.
Can't wait to see him on Haven this year on Syfy, I think he'll be a great actor.

    You can't discount The Rock.
He's from a great wrestling family and was trained by some of the best.
His dad is "Soulman" Rocky Johnson, his Grandfather is "High Chief" Peter Maivia and he's related to the Wild Samoans, Yokozuna, Rikishi, Rosey, and the late Umaga.
But his finisher was a glorified elbow drop.
That's as lame as Hogan's "Big Leg".

Austin was and always will be one of my favorites, he was trained by the great "Gentleman" Chris Adams and the "Stone Cold Stunner" looked like it would put you in the ER.
