Ranked overall performance of the top ten most dominant Athletes of all times. First selected different sports that had the highest numbers of fans and participate worldwide. From each sport, the top peers had voted for their #1 ranked choice of Athlete of all time in their sport. This criteria worked for me, please ask any questions.

    1. The Athletes.Contribution to overall popularity, & duration of the sport and still active.
2.Versatility within their sport & top levels in other sports played.
3.Untouchable individual records of wins/points & most dominant athlete.
    4. Titles and world records.
    5. Most fans and participates international in amoung all sport.

Ranked in each category among top ten Athletes selected, lowest score ranks best.

    1.9th, 2.1st, 3.8th, 4.7th, 5.9th       =34

My personal choice is Michael Phelps #1 and Jim Thorpe 2nd. Kiraly was a surprise, not so much Pele. Since he has won more world cups than anyone and soccer has 4 billion fans. Tiger wood & Serena Williams are the only Athletes legend still active.

You lost me.  Absolutely ignorant on sports, except when I watched the 1966 Soccer World Cup on tv.  Only time I ever watched a match.
But good try CP.  Wishing you well.
