"Fitness is so important to every human being...A slim person is not necessarily a fit person as even plump people can be fit. If you adhere to at least 30 minutes daily workout routine for four to six times a week, your body will be fitter for it."-Biwom Iklaki
I agree Miebakagh, I used to be one of those skinny and unfit people, size is definitely not an indication of fitness, regular exercise is the only way to true fitness. I took my 80 year old mom to the gym this morning because seniors often get weak as they age which results from lack of exercise.
Hello, Imogene, that is great, and welcome to my world. Continued to inspire her to keep fit on a regular basis. I am past 60-years, and in order not to be afflicted with any degenerative diseases, I continued to maintain my fitness status.
In the picture I posed in the knee to chest dynamic stance. This was on this week Monday when I returned from my jogging session, and taking a recovery. Thank you for visiting, and weighing in.
I agree. 30 minutes minimum 6 days a week is my goal usually on exercise equipment at home. Even better if I am staying in a hotel with a gym and pool. I can spend a little longer exercising. Trends have changed. Leisure clubs have become more popular in the UK for young and old.
If I am traveling, I usually carry with me a little exercise equipment, because I don't think I can be agreed with some exercise equipment in the hotel. So, I exercise in the bed room. Thanks.
Miebakagh, Past 60 and still jogging and very fit, very impressive, that is the way it should be for everyone!
Have a great day!
Hello, imoge, thanks and you are welcome to copy. Good day.
I agree. Though, I work out more than 30 minutes, 6 times a week.
Good to know and note. You'll be welcomed.

How often do you work out?Two days in a row now I have used the elliptical machine and the only reason is because while I was at the gym the one lady was on it yesterday and I asked her how many calories do you burn she told me she burns 700 a day. She's on it for one hour I told her I can't do...

Do you consider yourself to be physically fit AND what is your weekly fitness regimen?Right now, I run 2 miles 3 times a week. I don't really think that's enough to say that I'm really fit, but it's enough to keep me in reasonable shape for now. Ideally I'd do about double what I do now and lift...
