    ok its game 10 and your star outfielder is stretching a double into a triple does this need to happend???? I would say hell no not in the 1st inning!

      He's the Bob Sanders of baseball. He plays too hard for his own good. He's one of the few players that you wish could dial it back a bit and maybe only play at 95% speed when he's not swinging the bat so he can stay on the field more often. This injury could really zap the life out of a team that got off to a great start.

    I think it's lousy that he seems to be insinuating it's the 3rd base coach's fault.  This stuff happens in baseball.  You slide headfirst, anything goes.

      I agree with that completely! If he really wanted to not stretch it, he could have and possibly just faced a game suspension or something small if he was that worried.

        Well, I guess he apologized for shifting the blame, so that's a step in the right direction.

 
working
