Who is going to win the 2012 NCAABB Championship?

    I have a blog on this and my money is on North Carolina, but Kentucky and Ohio State are contenders as well.  I would give Michigan State a look, too.

    With Barnes coming back, Carolina has to be the favorite. He is primed to have a sophomore season for the ages. I really think the light bulb came on for him late in this past season, and with the talent surrounding him next year...Carolina has to be the prohibitive favorite, right?

    Having said that, college basketball is more unpredictable than ever. Just look at this year's Final Four participants. VCU. A Butler team that had to go on an epic win streak just to make the tournament this year. A Kentucky team that was not exactly a regular season juggernaut in a weak SEC. And finally, a UCONN team that finished ninth-- ninth!!!-- in its own conference.

    Carolina looks loaded and is the pick, but after the past couple of seasons, I would not bet the mortgage on it.
