The Atlanta Thrashers are for sale and it is looking all but certain that they are moving to Winnipeg. Atlanta has never been a hockey city the two times they have had teams. Do not forget the Flames started in Atlanta before they moved to Calgary. Winnipeg would love a team and I know they will support this team just like the old "Jets". Personally, I would love to see a new Winnipeg team become the Jets, even if they have to buy the name back from the Phoenix Coyotes. I would love to hear everyone's thoughts about this.
What happen to the old Jets, did they not get enough attendance to support the team to stay in the NHL in the first place?
The old owners did not know how to financially run a team. Also, they played in a very old and outdated arena. The team's was supported by the fans and felt like their hearts were ripped out when the team was sold and moved to Phoenix. Will Winnipeg support this team? Yes. They are just like all Canadian cities crazy about hockey. Atlanta just never supports hockey even though they are one of the biggest cities in the US. There are several other cities that currently have NHL teams that probably should not and Atlanta is one of them.
Best thing going for them - Canadian are crazy for hockey.
Do they have an updated arena and good management now?

Winnipeg will be home of an NHL franchise next season as a TrueNorth Sports has purchased the Atlanta Thrashers. Winnipeg has not had an NHL franchise since the Jets moved to Phoenix after the 1996 season. This marks the second time Atlanta has lost an NHL franchise. The Flames left...

I think the Patriots are back in form and playing great football at the right time of the year. This young defense has turned it around. Look at who they have beat in the last weeks. Jets, Steelers, and the Bears. They didn't just beat them, they puniished all three. Who do you like in the entire...

Do you think Rex Ryan of the NFL Jets team should have been fired? is he a good coach or just full of mouth? In the first two years as a coach of the Jets team, they were doing good, they were not in playoff in the past two years however. With the right offense players, do you think the Jets team...

I really want to see Tebow play. It's not enough that the Jets can't run the ball or pass it for Tebow to play significantly. What will it take. If he comes in and runs the table, the Jets could be a playoff team:)

The Titans, Bills and Jags need QB help. I hope this creates an opportunity to see Tebow play this year.
