Is Yankees pitcher Mariano Rivera done?

Will one of baseball's best closers be forced to end his career because of a freak fielding injury during batting practice?

I hope not but I would bet you my ex-wife that he is.  Mo is the most dominant player in MLB history.  One pitch, all time saves leader and a 0.70 ERA in the postseason.  Gonna be missed.

I don't think he is done. The question is will he ever be the same I would think. He is not going to go out like that for sure. He will be back, but will he still be a top talent? Truly one of the best ever.

I definitely don't think so. There's no way he wants to leave the game like this so I believe he'll do everything to come back strong next season.

    Done for the season, sure.

Done for his career? Not at all. I'll take Mariano at his word he doesn't want to go out like this and he will go out on his own terms.
