Are the Yankees done with Alex Rodriguez?
ShootersCenter says
At his age, no steroids, no production, he's done.
GiancarloLorenzo says
Yes, A-Rod is done. The Miami Marlins loom. A-Rod's contract is a joke though so it will be hard to move him.
BLACKANDGOLDJACK says
I don't think he'll ever play again. I see a reality show in his future.
The Yankees undoubtedly would like to be rid of him at this point in time. But, they are probably stuck with him for the next five years.
I am betting the New York Yankees' lawyers are eventually going find a loophole to void that contract...there was a news release that they're looking into a 'morale clause' which could void contract
I feel the Yankees are done with him, but he will find a home somewhere. It could be in Miami, or maybe Cleveland. He may not be an intentional cheat, because I don't know if he is smart enough to do this on his own. Something about him strikes me as a person who is easily manipulated by others. The bottom line is: if someone gave Manny another chance, they might give A-Rod a chance. I just don't think it will be the Yankees.
I don't know if he will play again. Some guys keep getting more chances. I don't know if he is one of those guys.
Oh yeah, he was done with the yanks when they benched him in the nlds. But i'm sure the Rangers fans will be glad to see him back in Texas this year because he's headed back to the rehab Rangers!
I don't know if Texas Ranger management can explain to the their fans not being able to pay Josh Hamilton,but...are able to find the money to pay Alex Rodriguez?
Probably not. He isn't a good guy, and isn't worth anywhere close to what he is making.
I thought of a name for A-Rod's reality show. "Confessions of a Steroid and Stripper Addict." Dr. Phil and Oprah both make guest appearances. There are three judges who vote on whether A-Rod is telling the truth: Lance Armstrong, Lindsay Lohan, and Bill Clinton.
This whole Alex Rodriguez's thing is fascinating to me...he has been basically exposed as a fraud & if he doesn't play this upcoming season or does play again...he will be view as a thief and a crook as well...wow!...this hall fame career's done!

In one of the stranger stories of this offseason, Yankees GM Brian Cashman has publicly announced that he did not participate in the negotiations to sign Rafael Soriano. A week before the Yankees signed the reliever, Cashman said that he was not prepared to sign a man who would be a middle reliever...

I was curious if anyone else has had to do this...and the best way possible? I have a contractor I need to fire due to condition and breach of contract, the problem is how do I get my deposit back? His time and material in the job does not exceed that of the deposit. Yet far less than his required...

Do the Yankees have a shot at a championship in 2013?Given that the New York Yankees, in there zeal to stay under the $189 million salary "cap," have let Raul Ibanez, Nick Swisher, Russell Martin, and Rafael Soriano go, do you think they have a chance at a championship in 2013?
