Tattoos are expensive and you may not get alot for $26 ink value...you might get a small tattoo of a cross in one color for that amount.

I'll have to agree with waynet here...I'm sure the prices vary according to location and such, but here -- an area with a low cost of living and generally much lower prices than elsewhere in the world -- it's still very difficult to get much of anything by way of a tattoo for less than $75, and most range much higher. It all depends on the size, colors, and quality of the image.

You won't get much of anything. Please re-read the hub that you found. The criteria includes size, color, placement, and whether the artist has to draw it. You may also find restrictions such as shop minimums in place.

Also, remember that you have to tip, so let's say you tip $6, that leaves $20 for the tattoo. You may be able to get a small circle or something.

I know some of the shops around my town will do $13 tattoos on Friday the 13th, but the customers have to choose between a handful of dime-sized tattoos in order to qualify.

Unless you know someone, you will pay more. I got one of my tattoos for $50 because that was the shop minimum. The tattoo artist was my at the time boyfriend's best friend. The tattoo is still iffy, even though he's the professional. I need it touched up, but I'd rather get new ones than touch up the old. (I have not gone back to that artist since that tattoo though, and have paid a more for better quality with my ex's old boss.)

It depends on the dealer as many small shops offer from 50-150 dollars.
