How much does fuel cost where you live?
Gas cost $ 3.39 over here.
$ 3.30 by us .. hackensack/paramus, NJ .. not beatin ya by much!
We're at $3.80 in a suburb of Chicago. It's dreadfully getting higher.
Just today, I paid $3.79 a gallon for gasoline. ( it can be found at a cheaper price, but I needed it, immediately ) I bought only about half a tank. When I first bought my car, years ago, it would barely hold $20.00 of fuel, today, a 'fill up' takes at least $40.00.
My hubby's truck runs on diesel and it costs more. We don't even go to the pump with less than a $100.00. Diesel is a byproduct of gasoline...............WHY does it cost more?

I'm about to move out on my own and was just wondering what other singles spend each month on groceries. It seems like what I've worked out so far for my buget has a huge chunk needed for food so I'm curious.
