I'd think this could be very hazardous to your health...you have no idea where Nair might be on your body one of these mornings.
Aside from this being a form of domestic abuse (think of how you'd like nair smeared on your face while sleeping) Nair causes the skin to burn and eventually blister if it's not removed within a few minutes, so it would be dangerous to do so. A kind way to encourage your wife to have smooth legs would be to give her a Beauty Parlour voucher (or make an appointment for her at a nice Salon and give her the money to be pampered).
