How do you start dreadlocks?
My boyfriend has them, and I help him with the upkeep of them, but I wondered, where does one start and how long does it take to do a full head?
Not only was this uncalled for, it was also highly offensive considering you have no knowledge of the situation of my boyfriends parents.
Dreadlocks are beautiful. I remember seeing them being worked on, but not exactly the technique. It seemed like something women would do for men or for other women, just sitting behind the person and twisting, opposite twisting, and shaping.
I tried to do one on myself in high school, but it went round instead of long. I started out by braiding a chunk of my hair, and then opposite braided parts of it. I used a rubber band at the end until it formed. I'm sure there is a better answer than this, but your question reminded me of when I had the same question--about 15 years before general Internet use.

If you open a Hub several times a day, will the Hubscore drop?Sometimes, if I have lots of comments, I might open an article about 8 – 10 times in a day, to respond or I might edit it a few times. Just wondered if it affects my Hubscore.
