Seems like the world's gone crazy for these - are they really so nice? Especially when combined with platforms?
depends who's wearing them. Not sure they'd look great on me!
Anything that calls attention to a pair of luscious thighs gets a nod from me!
I had been wearing them for ages now, but they are an absolute winter must have in France this year!
I wrote a hub about High Fashion designer boots . They do look very sensual specially Stella Mcartney boots although guess Id choose a lower heel and lots of shine...lol
I am a fan of those Stella McCartney boots, they are a dream...
Oh me too. Now where is that cheque book?
Only $1,595 http://www.net-a-porter.com/product/48897
I wear them on occasion but not the heeled ones....they are fun and comfy. sexy? depends on who wears them I guess
Thigh high boots are the absolute hotness. What makes them classy or trashy is the quality of the boot, along with what you are wearing with the boot. Outside of the bedroom, do not wear shiny pleather boots. Save the patents and pleathers for the bedroom. Go for a more matte finish, and make sure you layer your clothing. Meaning, it's good to wear a pair of leggings with a nice tunic, belt, jacket, scarf and or necklace. That gives you a layer of sophistication that does not scream hooker.
I do not recommend mini skirts unless you have leggings on underneath and have layered your top (see note above).
Doing this creates a harmony throughout your ensemble and makes you look chic instead of trashy.
you've said it well here MM, unless a certain age along with a natural sophistication, they scream hooker.
Oh I found some with a little bit of patent and lots of suede and I dont look trashy I look classy n hot
Depends, but a pair of luscious thighs, mini skirt and high boots... yes, i think this set are realy sexy.
i have boots but not thigh-high ones...there was this girl at the bank who wore them to work...she was always getting into trouble with our manager (she managed us tellers) for it, but that girl always had long lines, usually attractive men.
but so did i, and i am a very conservative dresser, so there ;p
p.s. i do wear thigh high socks with shorter skirts occasionally. i think it is more tasteful than thigh-high boots and just as sexy. they reveal just a teensy bit of thigh. i'm a big believer in understated.
Not to be too offensivly biased on this subject but if you think boots ( of any kind ) are sexy, hot, cute, fashionable then you should get your head out of your butt and relize that 99% of boots are repulsive. Boots are not attractive. Boots were made for cowboys and cowgirls. they should be the only people to wear boots, and thats for work. Those old fashioned cowgirl puposeful boots look nothing like the funky shiny black boots of today or those outrageous looking suede covered fluffy moon boots.
There should be a law that restrict women from wearing such ridiculous things.
So unless its halloween and your making fun of those boots, or your shoveling snow, or cow/horse poop you should not wear boots. Specially not out on a fri/sat night!
Are you serious?
I am hoping that you are joking, but if not let me help you a little bit. Military members wear combat boots, hikers wear hiking boots, boxers and wrestlers wear boots, cowboys.girls wear boots, and some VERY SEXY women wear boots. If you don't like boots, then that is your opinion and right to have it. Not to tell people to get their heads out of their butts.
Yes Im serious but with a funny side on this subject.
Your exmaples are perfect! hikers wear hiking boots, why? to protect their feet while climbing. They are very practicle.
you ever try shoveling snow in your pennyloafers? I hope not, becasue they would get soaked. Cure? snow boots!
Steel toe boots. You think they put metal in my shoe for fashion? think again, its for safety.
Boxers and wrestlers wear boots for not rolling/breaking their ankels as it give them extra support.
Cowboys and cowgirls wear them for thier occupation as it can get very dirty and you would not want to be wearing tennis shoes while doing thier jobs.
Combatants wear boots again for protecting their feet as they also could have a very dirty and dangerous terrain to cover. you cant be complaining that theres a rock in your chuck taylor while running in the military. lol.
Boots are meant for purpose, not fashion, thats my whole point. this is all fun and debate. my opinions are mine, and no one has to share them or agree with them.
They're definitely hot. Of course, it has a lot to do on how you wear them. There is also that slutty way, which is a big no no compared to the sophistication it could bring out of you.
They just look crazy uncomfortable! I don't know how you gals do half the things you do!
sorry if this is rude, but are you guy? girls do what they do cuz like, theres 2 guys to every girl. tjey get to pick, we need to look good, nobody WANTS to be alone...

Is a thigh gap something you are trying to achieve this year? Its a fashion or fitness trend among younger women to slim down and have a wider space between the legs. This is supposedly considered sexy. What do you think about this trend?

Would you be offended at seeing someone at Halloween wearing the "Sexy Ebola Nurse" costume..or just take it in stride and mark down the wearing of tasteless costumes a traditional part of the celebration?

What age is, in your opinion, too old to wear short skirts and high heels?I am settling a discussion between good friends. Rather than agreeing to disagree, they prefer to ask a larger group of people from different ages and cultures. Therefore, we lay it at your feet. Do you feel...

Why are designers making high-heels so high we cannot walk in them? This season I am seeing in almost every shoe-store in Australia the kind of high-heels I'd love to wear, if only they weren't too high! I love my heels, but why oh why are they making them so high that I'd be to scared to try...
