When you are buying jewelry, do you prefer to buy sets or single pieces? Why?
For both men and women who wear jewelry, do you like to purchase sets, or mix-and-match single pieces of jewelry? Mention the primary reason for your choice, or why you have no preference.
When I used to make jewellery and sell it at craft fairs I found that most people would want to buy sets. I have no particular preference as neither my wife or I wear jewellery.
I prefer buying single pieces of jewelry and then pairing them with other pieces that compliment them. I find that buying perfectly matching sets of jewelry is sort of like perfectly matching your shoes to your purse; it's just sort of old looking. That being said, I have seen some gorgeous sets as well.
