Black women: How has your hair been a struggle in your life?
Black hair is a very controversial subject. Please share your experience. My experience is going from luscious big fro curls when I was younger, and transitioning to shorter hair because of damage (relaxers, I tip extensions, hair dye, improper care, etc.)
Oh wow! It has been a challenge for me from childhood days even now. I relaxed my hair at age 17 yrs but it never did my hair justice so I had to return to being natural.
You talk about luscious big I should tell you. If my hair isn't comb when it is wet, it is hell to get the knots out when it is dry.
But there are now many products that are used to moisturise and control the volume, so the struggle is not bad at all.
It has not been easy but I still love my hair anyway.
