Have you ever had a microdermabrasion?
Did you get good results?
I have it done regularly, at least once a month when I have my eyebrows done. The results are AMAZING. I highly recommend it!
Each person's results with microdermabrasion are highly individual depending upon their skin, the skill of the person doing the service, the length of treatment (weeks or months) and the equipment used. I had it done regularly for several months paying well over $1,200 but I then tried something different. With microdermabrasion my skin felt smoother but that was very short lived because my skin was super oily and clogged. You can only have so much microdermabrasion but you can gently scrub your own skin daily.
I have acne but with my own changes I have seen excellent results that are better for me than microdermabrasion. It is now clearer and softer than it's ever been. I gently scrub my skin with a washcloth for 60 - 90 seconds once a day (rather than just with my fingers) with a gentle cleanser on it, NO facial scrub, just the washcloth and cleanser. I also bought a better moisturizer that was perfect for my ever changing but currently combination skin. My neck, face and decolletage is much smoother and clearer than it ever was paying over $1,200 for microdermabrasion. If you do get microdermabrasion, don't stop at your face like so many do! Ante up for your neck and decolletage too!
With this effort, my acne has greatly subsided and I don't spend $150 a pop on microdermabrasion anymore. On a side note, every other day or every three days, I use a facial scrub containing salicylic acid on my legs from top to bottom in the shower for 60 - 90 seconds as well. Just be warned that it is a bit of a workout though. My legs are softer and smoother than they ever were before! Best wishes to you in finding what works for your skin.
