Angie lived on the right side of town,
Her family was very genteel.
Brad lived on the other side.
He often had to work for a meal.
They might have never met,
Just passed each other on the street.
But fate stepped in; it often does
They were fated, you know, to meet.
It was a beautiful day,
They were both in the park.
Brad looked Angie’s way
And wham-o there was a spark.
They soon became very good friends
They saw each other every day.
Brad - “I’d like to take you to dinner, Angie.
What do you say?”
Angie - “A dinner date would be nice
Is it formal or not?”
Brad - “You don’t have to dress up
It’s a rather casual spot.”
