While I sort of agree with your question, I don't believe a single culture will result from any force, even technology. More and more people are able to communicate and interact with one another around the world but this doesn't mean peoples' beliefs and traditions will assimilate one way or another. In other words, people will always believe in different things and act differently and similarly never universally have the same beliefs. The ability to interact and communicate with anyone on the planet will certainly bring like people together but, as throughout history, there will still be different groups of people with different beliefs and traditions based on their experiences. When technology forces people to have relatively identical experiences and responses to those experiences, there could be a single world culture.
Nice thought-provoking question! Great work! :)
