Who you got: Google or Bing?
The argument has gained steam over the past year so the time has come to settle the matter. To you, is Google or Bing the better search engine?
Out of the two, I would say Google provides the better range of accurate results. Bing is good too, but I tend to only use it on my tablet, as the Bing search is better for touch screens. However, with increasing data collection and the recent US spying dramas, I feel better using Ixquick on most of my devices. It uses the power of the major search engines, without recording your information and habits. I don't have anything to hide, I'm just against profiling and the monitoring of everything we do (at least in the UK/US).
I have to say Google for the win! I prefer Google over Bing anytime.
You mean there's an alternative to Google???;-) I'm just going to google something sounds normal. 'Hold on, I'll just Bing it'... sounds strange! Maybe Bing is more popular in the USA... in the UK nobody I know uses Bing.
Google was what I started out with and because I knew about few alternatives when I first started computer and internet studies, I've become attached to it. The same applies to operating systems and internet browsers - even though I know Chrome is better, I still prefer IE 'cause I know where everything is and there's no bottoming about. I'm very resistant to change, and that's why Google is a favourite.
love them both but uses Google more.Bing has great pictures Google has great information.
I prefer Google, but on Bing's defense, they've come a long way from where they were a couple of years ago.
Google engineers made up a random string of characters to include in their results and upon searching the string in Bing's engine and they copied Google's results. Bing is just trying to take a piece of the market share but will realistically never be a true competitor.

Bing or Google? Which search engine do you prefer?I see the commercial on television about how people are choosing Bing over Google as a search engine. I did the "Bing it on" test and my results came out as a draw. What is your experience? Do you prefer Bing or Google?

Why Do You Think Google Is The Leading Search Engine?

I need reassuring.Up until a few months back I understand, maybe wrongly, HP pages got additional boost from Google. That implies (to me) that Google wanted content farms to churn out pages so that every possible search term was covered by pages that had associated Adsense advertising.Now...
