You think robots can ever overpower humans?
This is world of technology, where we come across all the new technology every day. This growing generation of technology, do you think that these robots can overpower human beings?
Oh yes, I am sure of it. Of course, it depends on how you define the overpowering because to a certain extent computers already are overpowering/outperforming human beings.
As to the ever growing artificial intelligence, futurist Ray Kurzweil predicted the so-called technological singularity to happen somewhere around 2045. As Wikipedia puts it: any kind of artificial intelligence, a "computer, computer network, or robot would theoretically be capable of recursive self-improvement (redesigning itself), or of designing and building computers or robots better than itself."
So yes, it's not really a question whether it will happen, but more about when and how we could possibly control it.
But do you think, something that is made by human can ever overpower human? You think that it can result in some kind of fight between us human and those robots trying to come over us?
yes, one day, robots will be taking over jobs in factories, self service centres, so human will be controlling them behind, not performing the jobs. Low knowledge people will be out of jobs
Absolutely. There are a lot of theoretical essays out there about the nature of AI and its levels of awareness. When intelligent AI reaches a state of human-like awareness it'll be able to access and absorb information at a rate much faster than the human mind can and within a scant few years of that reality, I foresee AI robots taking over humanity.

The verb 'to succumb': would you use the inanimate reference for a human? My language intuition may be imperfect. Still, in cases of overpowering and disruptive or damaging forces, I would refer words such as ‘yielding’ or ‘succumbing’ to inanimate objects. A tree might succumb to drought. A dam...

Are humans truly more advanced or civilized than animals?Despite our big heads, and our advancements in technology, how are we any better than beasts? Animals live as part of the planet, only taking what they need, yet we continue to take until there's nothing left.

If you programmed a robot to enforce all biblical laws, would you feel safe having it in your home?
