   download bitt defender ( cc cleaner) & spybot search&destroy. run them both every night after you are done with your computter, It is the best thing i have ever used and it.s free!

   Load some good Anti virus on your computer,like Norton 360 to prevent the same in future

   You can download free anti virus software such as Avast, AVG or AviraAnti Vira. If you decide to go for commercial products, you can buy Norton Antivirus.
   
   Next step would be download spyware remover software such as spybot search and destroy or adaware.
   
   Once you have installed these programs, run each of these products.
   
   To prevent these from happening, be careful what webpages and links people have sent you before clicking. Once the software has been installed and you click on a link or website that has a virus on it, it will warn you.

   If you keep getting the same virus then you need to locate the source. If you keep getting different viruses you need to figure out what it's from. You do not mention whether or not your downloading files like from a p2p program or sharing files with another computer.
   
   A common mistake people will make is trying to install a virus scanner over an already infected machine. Some viruses are smart enough to actually bypass this and allow the scanner to be installed but keep themselves from being detected. An online virus scanner may help you identify the source and name of a virus which should allow you to search for a proper remedy to remove it. Also make sure to keep your virus database files up to date or your anti-virus scanner is nothing more than an icon collecting dust on your taskbar.
