Posterous requires we to email our post to them and it is not for microblogging. I would prefer Tumblr and Twitter. However, Posterous looks new to me, it might help us all to get more online traffic so I might give it a try.
Tumblr is the best option and it is much comfortable than posterous. Posterous wants you to post via email which is pain and adding some formatting code is not part of it. In such case tumblr is microblogging as well as one good short blog.
Besides you can use tumblr to build backlinks for your hub as well.
Tumblr is perfect platform for microblogging. Besides you can use ads on tumblr as well. So if i have to choose between tumblr and posterous i'll choose tumblr.
