Are there any ATT cell phones that can connect to wifi but do not require a monthly data plan?
It's not the "carrier" ie ATT that you need to consider with wi-fi but the phone. A blackberry is a good phone that will connect to the internet whether you have cell phone service or not. Not all phones do wi-fi or the latest wi-fi calling. That is something to ask your sales associate when purchasing the phone. You can also go online to any of the carrier web sites and research some of their phones. There are so many phones that will connect to wi-fi now. But whether you can talk over them like a phone is a different question. Hope this helps.
