Is technology distracting us from spirituality?

Or do we worship technology as a God? Isaac Asimov once said, "Any sufficiently sophisticated technology is indistinguishable from magic." Do you know how your cell phone, microwave, or television works?

Some people are being distracted, but it takes a lot more for others to be convinced or carried away by the "side roads" of life.

The goal of technology is to know God. Technology and spirituality should be side by side.

Can't say I worship my technology as God and I sure as heck don't leave it offerings. It does distract me a lot from more meaning things in my life however. But also without it I wouldn't be doing things I love today. It does appear to be a vice for some which can have major distractions in someones life.

I think 2 some degree, yes. That's where discipline comes in. Technology must b used a little less 2 hetnalone w/ God.
