getting rid of google chrome
I have tried uninstalling it and my email links crash. I want internet explorer back and google chrome gone
Go to Start Click.
See CONTROL PANEL Click.
See Add / Remove Click.
See Google Chrome Click Remove.
My problem is that without chrome I can not open any links in my emails. To get back here had to reinstall so I suppose my question reverts to how do I reset windows explorer as my email default?
1. Open Internet Explorer
2. Click 'Tools' on the main tool-bar, then 'Internet Options'
3. Click on 'Programs' Tab
4. Where it says 'Default Web Browser' click on 'Make Default'
That should fix it.
Why on earth would you leave chrome, for IE?
I can only imagine, that your problem lies in the fact that you do not know what you are doing.
If you click a link, in your email, and it doesnt work....its because chrome is protecting you from a viral site!! And IE does NOT!
So chrome is protecting you from destroying your computer...

I read there are two ways to get rid of Internet Explorer - uninstalling it or turning it off. Windows gives instructions. The article also said the programs remain available to the default browser. I want to uninstall my free trial Norton, install paid Avast, and turn off Internet Explorer. I...

I have always used Internet Explorer and have just dealt with all of its little 'quirks' but I can't take it anymore! I can't even open capsules now or delete any to work on a hub. So how do I change to something different? And what should I change it to? Fairly computer illiterate here so simple...
