I have yet to try WordPress, but really want to.  I am on blogger now because it was free.  It does provide a cheap option for setting up my own domain and getting rid of the .blogspot in the title.  I really think that would make my blog link more professional/simpler, but right now I am just experimenting.  If I do get my own domain I think I will get one that allows WordPress because I keep reading how great it is, and there just seems to be more activity on their comment sections.  Not to mention I see more of their blogs at the top of the searches, even though Google owns Blogger.

I have not yet tried Wordpress.com, but I have my sites on the Wordpress.org platform and it is by far my favorite. Blogger is made to be a blogging platform -- and that's it. WordPress is an extremely flexible platform that, with the right know-how, can be made to look like any kind of site and do just about anything that other sites can. Do a search for "powered by WordPress" and see what kind of sites come up, you might be amazed, it is not just a blog platform, and Google's algorithm loves it. In comparison, I was severely underwhelmed by Blogger -- it's great if you want a sign-up-and-go kind of thing, but it's so limiting in what you can do with it.

would have to say wordpress in terms of SEO, it's a little less bloated then blogger in terms of coding, but blogger is very easy to use. Wordpress is available to download and install on your own server if you don't want to use their servers, so thumbs up for wordpress!

Blogger.  Wordpress actually allows you to make better looking blogs, but Blogger allows advertising.
