The concept  developed in the Paro Alto laboratory took the days of the Internet in advance. Why was not the XEROX.Co able to adopt the concept as its own business strategy? Please make your reflection in 100 to 200 words

There was no internet, nor e-mail among average people in those days.  The concept was so alien to the managers they failed to realize its potential.  This happened at a time when the company also experienced financial problems so they ditched the research lab to save money since the managers completely failed to see the potential of their new invention.  They did salvage the laser printer which made them a lot of money.

When people become comfortable in their belief in themselves they often fail to adapt to change and that's just evolution in action.  Xerox was in the printing business and the internet was seen not to fit that strategy.

Too far ahead of its time, basically.

It's like Henry Ford got access to a turbocharger. What would he do with it?

Also, Xerox is in the PAPER business, and if you take Internet or network to its logical conclusion, it would ELIMINATE paper. Not exactly the kind of innovation you want, right?
