Which is better for a photographer who is changing from a PC - a MacAir or MacPro?
I'm considening moving to a MacBook Air or Pro since my PV has crashed. I do a lot of photography and when I'm on the road, I process a lot of images, mostly using Adobe Lightroom. I may be storing over 1000 RAW images (though I could move lots of them to a portable hard drive.) Which computer would you recommend and why?
Thanks, Liela Nicholas
I would have to say the MacBook Pro if you plan on doing a lot of photography. Especially if you plan on editing some photos. The MacBook Pro's are better computers for the same price. The convenience factor of the MacBook Air is the size, but at the same time, due to its size it tends to be a little bit more fragile. I would go with the Pro because of the actual performance will be better, and also the Pro is definitely more durable if you plan on traveling with it.
