I live in Jalandhar, Punjab India and log in to net from here but
on facebook my active session shows it is connected from Bangalore, in karnataka a good 2500 miles away. The IP address is the same.
Anyone wants to enlighten me if this is normal because I am worried about the security of my facebook and hubpages account.
I also recommend same thing contact Facebook authorities, it's a bit weird problem you are faceing and also not logical, check with the ISP provider IP. sorry couldn't help much.
click on (1) update status then click on (2) your location icon (as seen in the attached picture (see 2).
Here you can type your city name as "jalandhar, India". It will capture your location.
If you still did not understand how to do it, then pl feel free to contact me through fan email. (I have already received your fan mail earlier last week).
