Will spending less time on the internet cause you to be out of touch?
Over the last few weeks I have been spending much less time on the internet and I am feeling much more in touch with the world. The internet is supposed to be a place where we get to know what is going on in the world but I am finding that nothing beats face to face encounters with people. Do you think internet socializing really competes with meeting up with people in a social environment?
It can if you are not careful. On the other hand, social sites such as Facebook help many get in touch with friends and meet them in person. I guess the key is in moderation of online vs. real world interaction.
