T.co refers to Twitter's link referral system. If you see t.co as a source of your traffic, it's because someone tweeted a link to your content on Twitter.
Since you have only 140 characters to use, they dont want you to spend 15-25 characters on long urls like "http://www.mylongurl.com/something.html" . instead twitter use the small urls like http://t.com/xcf as the link to save a lot of characters. Bit.ly used to do this before twitter got into it.
