    Rule #1 of buying Apple products: never by the first, second, or third versions. Wait for iPad 4.

    There is some merit to what paxwill says but if you really are waiting for iPad 4, you have missed out on enjoying a wonderful device, I still use my original iPad and love it, however an upgrade soon would be nice due to lack of a cam, I will probably wait another version before upgrading because you never need to get every apple product upgrade, but to not have an iPad and be someone that enjoys great technology you are missing out.

    I'm with CZCZCZ I love my iPad, first gen and use it all the time.  But I would love to have an upgrade with a camera and the newer ones are much lighter than the first one.  Never got the iPad 2 - so I am due and my husband can have my first one.
