    In short, the answer is no. If you have the first iPad, the iPad 2 is not a significant enough upgrade in terms of hardware to warrant a purchase.

    The original iPad will still run iOS 4.3, still be able to comfortably run all the same apps as the iPad 2, and also be able to output to HD televisions with the new cable from Apple.

    So what are you paying for? The dual camera's? Not worth the purchase price. Wait until next year for the inevitable iPad 3 which should be a significant upgrade.

    I dont think its a significant upgrade. I would wait for the iPad 3, which has supposedly been dubbed the iPad HD because it will have a retina display. It is supposed to be released around the same time as the iPhone 5, which is likely to be in October. iOS 5 and iCloud will also be available for it. If you want to learn more about it visit my hub.
