Blogger or Self Hosted WordPress?
Which blogging that you prefer? Blogger or WordPress. Why and Reasons.
Self hosted WP. You have more control over your blog. Actually you have complete control. If you want to advertise or talk about whatever you like, you can.
There is a longer learning curve with it but well worth it.
I use both - Blogger because there are no costs involved and the themes, although not nearly as customizable as self-hosted WordPress (.org) themes, are easy to use and customize.
If for some reason I was only allowed to use one, my choice would be a self-hosted wordpress theme site - one can do so much more with a self-hosted site, and I don't know if it's just with my own sites and related to their domain names and content, but what I'm finding is that self-hosted WordPress theme sites seem to be more easily found by Search Engines than Blogger blogs are.
Of course self hosted wordpress, if you can run. But if you are a newbie I recommend to use first blogger, after a success in blogger then get shifted on wordpress.
