Is there a way to upload old VHS tapes to the computer to be edited and digitized?
I have an old RCA Pro-Edit VHS videocamera that I liked very much. I am familiar with A & B roll editing, tape-to-tape. I realize, however, that once you plug in your A/B roll footage, by the time you get your edited master completed, you are already down a generation, and subsequent copies are down another, each generation losing quality and resolution.
However, there is no such loss with digital, so if I can get my VHS tapes into the computer somehow, I can edit with no further loss. (The camera outputs are the old RCA connectors--no firewire is available for it.)

You can also buy a similar device at future shop.
There are many devices with a 3 pin A/V plug in one end and a USB cable at the other. This device will convert the analogue to digital in real time so you can save the file in popular digital formats.
My connection isn't a 3-pin; it's an RCA jack..one pin in the middle, surrounded by a metal tube that is part of the plug-in connection.

I'm wondering if my best articles that are being copied can still be claimed as copied if the editors are making drastic changes to it.It really isn't the same article that the thieves took so filing a DMCA may be useless. BTW,most of my articles are on private blogger or websites without Google...

Hello Beautiful Souls,I have an article on Tatring that I wrote in June of last year. The editors decided to move the article to Tatring; I never submitted it. They wrote me an email saying the article is eligible to move to a network site and asked me to include an introduction to the piece so the...

Wow. I think I am sorely disappointed. I went back and looked at my article that I originally published four or five years ago here. The changes that were made affected the entire tone of my original piece. vocabularly edits, cutting down sentences, they totally tore apart my...
