How to Disable "Share" link that appears on every Facebook wall post?

You may have noticed "Share" just beside "Like" and "Comment". How can I disable it? It appears under every Facebook post, be it a simple status update, an image or an entire photo album.

There is no need to disable it, even if you could.  If you see a post, a picture, etc and want to share it, you click on share and it reappears in the news feed which is the main page as well as your profile page.  It is for your use only. If you don't want to share then simply do not click on share.

I am talking about the "Share" link on my Facebook Wall, not my Hub. If you use Facebook, you will notice a "Share" link below your wall post. I want to disable that link to make sure my photos posted on Facebook don't get shared by my friends.

I know.  If you look you will see a share button for posts by others too.  Go to your privacy settings. You cannot control the share button on facebook. But your privacy settings only control what people see your photos, posts etc.

You can't disable this feature. It's something facebook put in. If you don't want something you post to be shared then it's up to you to put "please do not share" somewhere on the post. It would be nice to disable it, but alas facebook rules all lol.

Het woordje share staat midden op een nieuw tabblad , op elk blanco tabblad!

    Hello Anurag,
You cannot control the share button on facebook but you sure can control your privacy settings. If you don't want your friends to share your photographs then limit your audience. On the top blue line, you will find your account name,on the right there is Lock symbol click on it and from there control your privacy settings.

Even now if you friends share it and you have allowed the post for friends only then people who aren't your friends won't be able to see that.

But the rule changes when you tag someone.
