Does having an iPhone cost more monthly than an Androis?

I am on a group plan and switched to an iPhone from an Android with Sprint, and I have been informed by the bill payer that it costs $50 more a month for my phone bill, being $100 in total. But I can't find any info online about it.

As long as they didnt switch your GB's or anything then it shouldve stayed the same. Ask whoever it is for the bill cause they might have accidentyl gave you extra GB's or the hotspot which would cause the bill to be higher. Which would be their fault.

I don't think anything was switched. I handled the switch of phones, and they (the Sprint staff) didn't tell me there would be any price difference other than the cost of the phone itself.

No, the phone you have does not have anything to do with how much you spend. The cost of your bill is down to what you use a phone for, so calls you make, texts you send, data you download. Data is the only thing that may catch you out if you are constantly using a phone for the internet or to download things, but this facility is there on an android just as it is on an iPhone.

It's the exact same set up as I had with my Android - unlimited everything, just a different phone. Strange. When I have a day off I intend on going to a Sprint store and finding out exactly what is going on
