Have you been burned by making co-workers social network friends?
As a joke a co-worker posted we were having shots for lunch. Well the word got out, no harm was done but it was disapointing that I ever added people who would think I was that slow. Long story short everyone got deleted
Good question. It is scary these days and you never know what can be misconstrued. I make it a point not to friend anyone on FB that I work with. It is hard enough with family on there who do not share my political views. There have been many a heated debate with my sister! If I post something about her political party she retaliates with typical big sister nasty remarks that "You have no idea what you are talking about"
I've noticed some people who are mean spirited in real life can be the same on FB but 10 times worse.
What seems okay to post by friends may not be okay by your standards. I've had to hide things. I finally blocked one person who was posting horrible pictures of J Lo along with animals being brutally butchered. This person is a raging animal rights activist, and takes issue with J Lo particularly for some reason because she wears fur. I might be somewhat in agreement with but the photos were horrible!

HubPages is a Ning site? Look at the bottom right in the footer...It looks like someone deleted some of the code that hid the fact that this has been a Ning site all along.I thought HubPages was its own platform, built from the bottom up by its creators, not running someone else's...
