Why do we hear the sound first whenever we switch on a Television and the picture comes later?
If Light travels faster than sound, then why do we hear the sound first whenever we switch on the Television and the picture comes later?
Because you are not dealing with just light on a television. You are dealing with the electronics inside the television, the cable, the remote control, etc. It all comes into play, along with the speaker system. In order to better understand this, look at it naturally; lightning and thunder.
You can't compare those to the complexities of a television set.
