    Is Klout still legit?

Klout, and your "Klout Score". As they put it... "The Standard for Influence"... For those who don't know it's basically your "influence" on the social web, measured up very much like a "credit score". It's a great concept, and they were red hot a few months back. Now they've just overhauled their business model... and I wonder. Have you used Klout? Is it still legitimate?

Not sure.  I signed up a long time ago and to me it is more of a novelty.  My score just continues to drop.  I used to be a 40 and over the last 90 days I have a klout score of 36.  It does not bother me one bit though.

I use Klout and you are right that it has seen modifications lately. Most people have seen a drop in scores, including me. I am 61 today. I use it to see where my shares and interaction with people on social media networks aligns with other users and who 'influences' me most on the networks. I also like the perks that you can get by mail.

The problem with Klout is that it can be manipulated just like anything else, and while it is enviable that they are trying to change their business model to secure their place in the world wide web, they should also go with the flow more and react to what people want and need. And so far I have not really seen that at klout. At best it is a "play thing" for those in the know.

I have no personal experience with Klout...and I checked in Google ,with their official website, ;I found that there were safe....I just did a whois search using and they have  their information listed in detail and it is formatted too. When I ran a scam alert scan using I found that they have good rating in the Web of Trust criteria.
