Why does a message keep informing me about support for my browser is currently in beta testing?
Why does a message keep coming up (in pink) when I edit hubs, when all of their suggested higher versions of browsers, are the ones I already have and use?
If you get a beta browser, you might get errors stating that it's a beta, that means that it is incomplete some things don't work.. If a browser has that to say, and it prevents you from doing something desired, best to export your bookmarks to an HTML file, export your passwords using a password manager plug-in, and obtain a stable older browser, and import bookmarks and passwords into that. People update browsers more for security fixes than for feature additions. The fact that users tend to update their software is IMHO a bad behaviour in software use. Because if the software never plateaus, it never achieves standardization, and people are ever experiencing bugs for anything they do.
But I guess, to borrow a concept from animation, "if it doesn't move, how do you know it is alive?" Change is an attribute of life, so as time goes on things change, but I'd advise using the stable software, not the betas. Betas are for people that like living on the edge, seeing things first, paying bigger dollars so they can rant about how much they wasted on that new gadget while the "rest of you folks got it easy". But the smart people are the "late adopters". Your hardware is more standard, your software is more stable, the car you drive you picked up for a quarter the price still on warranty from a used car dealership, you don't need to show off to your friends, you take it easy..
Take a "looky" over here (don't worry this is a trusted site, it's a non-profit freeware open source distribution site, pretty common among Linux users as all these programs run well in WINE on linux):

Which browser do you use and why?I personally use Google Chrome. Used to be a big Firefox fan back in the day. I just like the speed & simplicity of Chrome.
