What do you think will be the next big accomplishment in space exploration?
I always find it fascinating how technology continues to grow at such an exponential rate. This always leaves me pondering what the next big technological breakthrough will be when it comes to space exploration.
Finding alien life form. That would really change a lot and would defy others who think that Earth is the only planet suitable for life. Nevertheless, we need to build advanced spaceships to carry out manned space explorations so that should come first.
That is something I've always hoped to see in my lifetime. Hopefully that is achievable within the next 30 to 40 years.
The next and most real step in space explorations should me manned missions to solar system: Mars, asteroids, other planets, satellites and other. The accomplishment I would like to see sound more like science fiction. But if you let me to use my imagination, I would say two things. Firstly, the discovery of extraterrestrial life and secondly, traveling faster than light (using wormholes, hyper space of other sci-fi stuff).
Here's a thought: How's about we all tell our governments to stop focusing all of their energies and OUR money on weapons of destruction and, instead, focus on a REAL space program? Had they done this all along, we would already have colonies on Mars, perhaps even colonies on the moons of the Gas Giants as well as our own world.

Do you think that privatized space exploration will be able to replace the Space Shuttle? The Space Shuttle will be replaced by privately constructed ships. Space X and other companies are building the next generation of America's space exploration and other vehicles. Will this work?

We know less about our oceans than we do about space. Should do more to explore our own planet?Should we divert funding from the space program to do this?

I just heard on the local news that Obama will be announcing an end to the US space program later today. I do not know if this is true. I guess we will find out this afternoon.Any Thoughts?

I love quantum physics. You know we will succes in time travlling. if we know exact calculation and find a wormhole in which we can travel in different timeAny one can tell me how can we succes in time travel or how much energy required to time traveling ?I will give you right answer in your...
