How Do You Get Rid Of Firefox "Waiting and Transferring" Status Messages On Bottom Left Of Screen?
How do you get rid of those annoying Firefox "waiting and transferring" status messages that are continuously flashing or scrolling, on the bottom left of screen? These serve no purpose for the average user. They tend to be a major distraction while working online. The older versions of Firefox did not have these distractions. Besides placing a piece of electrical black tape on my monitor is there any simple way of getting rid of those annoying messages?
I checked into this recently. There is a way, according to several websites, including Mozilla. However, it takes about ten actions to do it, I am afraid of this procedure, as it could backfire. It consists of working with the configuration system and is entitled "speed up Firefox" in search.
