What will you do when Windows XP no longer has tech support after April?
I heard today that Microsoft made this announcement. Does that also include protection? I'm old school. Need suggestions.
Hmmmm. I hadn't heard about this. Should we be concerned? Is this a result of Google taking over the world?
Yes I heard about that and it is true. They are not going to support XP after April, their reasoning being it's too outdated. I would suggest you upgrade to Windows Vista, Windows 7 or 8.
You could always switch to Linux. That's what I did and haven't looked back at Windows since 2004.
XP is FAR past it's expiration date, MS wanted to suspend support for it a few years ago but were talked out of doing so by public outcry. Linux is the future, free, open source and no more worries about viruses or other malware.
