My dad dropped his phone in the water and it's on a plan and he wants to use my phone till he gets a
New one can't he just get a new phone instantly from his carier
It depends on the provider as to whether or not they will replace phone because it is damaged by water. Here is a link to you tube on using rice to dry out phone. Sometimes once the phone is dried out , it will work again, sometimes not.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EwTHgfwwaeU
What does it matter about the plan? He's your father - simply say yes. It will work out and you'll have your phone back.
