How can I stop Google Chrome creating hundreds of temp files?
The short answer is "You can't". It is not that you can't change the settings in Chrome. You can. It is that so many applications exist that will simply go in and change your Chrome settings to suit their needs. Thus all the work you do to limit the creation of temp files can be undone in the blink of an eye without your knowledge. Sweet, eh?
Your best bet is to get CCleaner and run it often. (Once per day) CCleaner will clean those temp files out.

How long do files stay in the temp folder?I opened an email attachment I shouldn't have at work (my payslip - pdf) on a shared computer. OPENED, not saved. Does that stay in a temporary folder somewhere, and how long until it is deleted?

Which browser do you use the most and/or which is your favourite?I have 3 different browsers installed on my computer (Firefox, Internet explorer and Chrome) and I use all 3, but my favourite which is I use the most is Mozilla Firefox.What about you?
