I received Windows 10 the other day but had PC problems.

Does anybody else have Windows 10 yet?

Yeah, I upgraded one machine to Windows 10 the other day, and like it better than Windows 8.1.  I have not yet used it enough to say that I prefer it over WIndows NT or Windows 7 or Windows XP.  On any given day I use the variants somewhat interchangeably, dependent upon need for the day.

Windows 10 has system hardware requirements high enough that my older machines will never see that update.  Did you run into resource related problems?

I stuck to Win 7 instead of upgrading to 8.1 because I heard so many bad things about it. I do not know how long I can use it without my problem re-appearing.

Yes, I just did the free upgrade.  I haven't had any problems as of yet, and it has been over a week or so since I upgraded. I have Windows 10 at work, so I am used to it I guess.  I did notice that they do not have the option to set when you want updates as it just does it whenever the updates are ready to go and you have to stop doing whatever you are doing.

That is good. I have PC problems and have not seen all yet. I am glad that someone has.

I tried to directly download it through Windows Update, to no avail.  I wound up downloading it to a flash drive and installing it from there.  Took me a bit but I like it very much.  Was slow at first but it is getting better.

I got the free version offer months ago. It came this past week and took two days to download.

It seems to get a little faster the more I use it.  It is faster shutting down and booting up.  The Edge Browser is much slower than Chrome but better than Firefox on my machine.

I am still using Windows 7. I was wondering if it was worth upgrading. What  benefits, if any, are you finding?

It seems better. I had Win 7 also and the problems have kept me from full view but it seems so. I can switch back if not.
