What Chromecast apps or TV networks have you uploaded to your television?

I just found out that Chromecast accepts the Pandora (music) application, cool.

Netflix, Youtube, the basics! I know you can cast other things such as Hulu, Spotify, even games like Monopoly smile

Hi Emily, thanks I use YouTube as well on Chromecast, I cast it to the TV with my cell phone. I will have to check out Spotify to see what's it all about. Thanks

I love my chromecast so much. I always have my phone with me so there's never any wondering where I left the remote.

I use Netflix and Hulu primarily but I listen to music with Youtube and Pandora.

If you're on your computer there's a Chrome extension you can download that lets you stream whatever you have open on your computer. Meaning you can watch shows that are only available to watch through a desktop computer.

Chloe that's cool to know, and more cost effective than paying cable television each month. Keeping up with technology that's useful and positive is fun. Thanks

I've used it with Netflix, Hulu, Google Play Movies, and streamed Amazon videos from my desktop. I also watch last night's TV episodes on the various network web sites, streaming them from my desktop to my TV using Chromecast. It's a pretty handy toy for such a reasonably priced item.

Agreed Lisa, this TV device is a reasonably priced item. It seems to be the cable companies competition for now. Only have to pay for the Chromecast device and a subscription for Hulu, Netflix, etc, still beats the price of cable. Thanks

I can also suggest Plex. You build your home media center with a PC, Plex and there you can cast all your local movies, TV series and music with Chromecast.

Thanks Alessio, this the first time I've heard of Plex, will check it out. I recently added CBS app to my phone to cast on Chromecast. I like watching Big Brother, Let's Make a Deal, and The Talk, on CBS.

Good, you'll surely love it! Also because Plex automatically downloads meta data for your local movies (so TV recordings for example) and auto organizes your movie library in a beautiful way, just like if you are on your "private Netflix / Spotify"
